Request a conversation
Verified adults with a mentee account send a short intro to a mentor who is open to new mentees. The mentor accepts or declines; a request with no answer closes after 14 days.
Talk on Health Mentors
If the mentor accepts, you message each other on the site, text only, and we email you when there's something new. Neither of you sees the other's email address, and either of you can end or report the conversation at any time.
A conversation on Health Mentors
Messages stay on Health Mentors and are visible only to the two of you. We don't monitor conversations in real time; staff read one only if one of you reports it.
Messages can't be edited or deleted. Ending a conversation is final, so the other person can't contact you there again. Reporting one also ends it and alerts our staff.

Prefer email? Send one introduction instead. The mentor receives your message and your email address, and any reply continues over regular email. Health Mentors does not host or monitor what happens next.
Up to three introductions in 24 hours, and one per mentor per week.
What Health Mentors does not do
We do not rank or match you, guarantee replies, monitor conversations in real time, schedule meetings, or run a community forum. The optional quiz only suggests a starting direction, and the AI Mentor is always labeled AI—never a stand-in for a human mentor. Use good judgment and follow the rules of engagement, on Health Mentors and in any email that follows an introduction.
