Health Mentors is a self-hosted platform. The operator of this instance is responsible for all data handling. This page describes the reference privacy posture of the open-source software; your specific instance may differ — check with the site operator.

Data we collect

• Account email, password hash, name, role, bio, interests, skills (user-provided).
• Quiz answers and derived career path + AI report (stored per-user).
• Forum posts, comments, votes (public by design).
• Direct chat messages between matched participants.
• Mentorship booking requests and session history.

External services

Quiz reports are generated by calling an AI provider (Google Gemini or OpenAI). Only anonymized answer tags and your derived tag scores are sent — never your email, name, or identifiers. Responses are stored in this instance's database only.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated records at any time by contacting the site operator (see Contact Us).
